The outlet mound is basically a traffic island at the intersection of Ridgewood and Midwood Avenues in Monona. As such, it
doesn't get walked on or suffers other injustices, except for mowing. The mound is the only extant one left from the group of 19
conical, linear and oval mounds once located here.
