Eagle Eye Mounds
(Cade I Group, Cade Archeological District)
This group is located within Eagle Eye State Natural Area, which is a property of the Mississippi Valley Conservancy. There are
reportedly either six or seven mounds present, depending on the source, including several effigies and two linear mounds. I didn't
see mounds yet, for one needs to ford Bad Axe River in order to get to them, and I was there during high water time. DNR link
